YOLK ©
A mini story by Martha Cecilia Rivera.
The well-dressed doormen watched in amazement to the man who climbed up the steps towards the door without stopping him. Then the man walked inside, and everybody remained silent. The man was dressed in a yolk-colored tunic resembling the kind of outfit that, it was said, in India was worn only by the lower castes. Inside the palace, the staff members frowned at seeing him and the dignitaries averted their eyes; the secretaries looked hesitantly at their ministers; the ministers avoided giving any answers. At the end, the man arrived before the king and queen, who warmly greeted him despite his yolk-colored tunic. This man was well-dressed in his heart, his name was Mahatma Gandhi.
