CARNIVAL ©
A mini story by Martha Cecilia Rivera.
One day at the carnival, King Mo’s rival disguised his head to resemble a parrot. He dyed his gray hair and devised an unusual hair style to appear different and distinguished. To give credibility to his character, he invented a unique phrase, “they have robbed me.” He repeated it throughout the day, just like parrots, tirelessly and without adding anything to support it. Unfortunately, a lie repeated enough times tends to become a truth, and by the end of the carnival many people in the kingdom believed it was true that King Mo’s rival had been robbed.
